The Task Force serves the interest of trade and
industry relating to various issues and concerns in the sector of
banking and finance. The main object of the Task Force is to impress
upon the RBI and Ministry of Finance to make available funds at low
costs. The Task Force acts as a forum for bankers - borrowers for
resolving various issues. |

Composition
of the Task Force It consists of; - Representative from industry and
trade within northern region - Associations based in northern region
- Senior bankers both from Indian and foreign banks - Experts from
consultancy firms - Senior retired bankers - Consultants

|
Provide a platform for
bankers-borrowers interface and act as a catalyst to provide policy
inputs to the Government, RBI, banks and financial institutions.
|
|
|
To
review, study and make recommendations in respect of Monetary policy,
concerning finance for trade and industry including customer services.
|
|
|
Task
Force also covers all issues relating to Foreign Exchange Management
Act, Financial Institutions, Credit Rating and others.
|
|
|

To organize meetings, seminars,
interactive session with RBI, Indian Banks Association (IBA), bankers,
financial institutions and Government.
|

dissemination to members seeking feedback / inputs

Representing the Chamber and views of members at various meetings/programmes

making.

Submit
memoranda on Monetary Policy to RBI, IBA and Government on issues
relating to problems borrowers are facing.
